Access Your Files From Anywhere With Google Drive [Android]

This is what I do. Do you?

Whenever I am at a genealogy event I take notes on my Android Tablet (can't type too well on the Android 'phone) and then when I get home I can tidy them up on my laptop.

  1. I've found this useful too Jill. Not sure if it annoys anyone else though as I tap away.

  2. Hello, I'd like to add a little bit on "export" any document from the android app. We can make a file available offline, but I doesn't really save to the SD card. After using the app since I got my Drive account, I'm not really impressed with it. My biggest issue is that my files don't actually sync across my devices i.e. if I add a file from the desktop, it doesn't show up on my phone.

  3. Hi, it's nice to find the topic here. The first time I encountered Google Docs (long before I became a software analyst), it truly liberated me from the holy trinity of business-standard software: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Suddenly, I had choice. And the alternative was free. And it worked! I get a little doe-eyed just recounting that moment.
    thanks~ Valerie
